I dont normally like the keyboard on the phones. But the kaiser keyboard fits perfect in the hands and its pleasure to type.

Its odd, the kaiser has the symbols àü in blue on the spacebar button. This means, you should be able to type those type of special characters by invokig Fn+Spacebar. Right?

Nope, nothing happens when you press Fn+Space.

Later i realized, the only way is use : Fn+Tab(which has Sym for Symbols) and select the letters from the list of other symbols.

Its really odd! Either they should have removed the suggestive marking àü on Spacebar or they should have added those symbols on Tab button.

I love palm and still believe no one catch match its simplicity and elegance!

The first time i tried to ActiveSync with Kaiser, Activesync claimed to retrieve settings for ever.

Searched around a bit in the device, noticed USB to PC in Settings screen which shows a simple setting to Enable/(Disable) advanced network functionality.

By default, it is set to enabled.


After Disabling (Uncheck) this setting,

USBtoPC

Activesync seems to start normally and syncs just fine.

As per the tips from PocketPCFAQ, it looks like by unchecking, we are actually reverting back the Sync protocol via USB to PPP instead of RNDIS.
